In the mood for something different? This fun story is told entirely by the correspondence of the characters. Humor, drama, and romance! I enjoyed this very much.

what a fun read this was! Written in an unusual style (entirely through email correspondence), the story catches your interest early on and then doesn't let go. Both of my parents read it in one sitting. I had a lot of interruptions, but read it in only a few days, a first for me! Amusing, touching, and dramatic, all rolled into one book. Highly recommended!

This series by Wilhelmina Baird with Cass, Moke and Dosh, really caught me off guard when it first came out. As a prolific reader, I don't have room for many "keepers", but these three books (this is the first) are definitely worth hanging on to. Unusual characters, and unusual stories, well written.

For anyone who appreciates the humor in Dilbert, this combines selected comic strips with interesting text written by Scott Adams. A fascinating read, and fun too!

An enjoyable and unusual read! Loved the way the writer used the traits of the point-of-view character to tweak the way the story is told to us :) Highly recommended! I have already gotten the next book in this series.

Clearly spells out how to train a dog, step by step. Considerate of the needs of the dog in a way that helps you work toward both you and your pooch being happier and more successful at training tasks.

Love the series, and really enjoyed this book! Not exactly like the book, but what you might have expected Richard Castle to write about. Steamy, dramatic, and fun!

Interesting, not only for the story of the explorer, but for the details of how truly dangerous exploration was in those days.

Too strange for my tastes, but friends smarter than me say it's great. Why not decide for yourself? (I rarely like best sellers.)

I say - too complicated and too many characters. Quickly lost track of what was going on. My friends say - that I am a doofus, that the story is rich and complex and fantastic. Have to confess, I didn't read the whole thing. Perhaps my friends are right ;) It did generate a lot of acclaim.

A good story, set in the time leading up to the eruption. I believe that they worked in characters based on some of the bodies found at the actual site. The main character is a water engineer, and he sees signs of changes in the water that he doesn't know how to interpret - so it's a sort of retro-scientific-mystery. Well done.

Picked this book up last night, sat down, and stayed up far past my bedtime, reading until I finished it. Fascinating story, well-written, with love, hope, and heartaches throughout. Will make you look back on your own life differently, whatever your age. Thought-provoking and inspirational.

Second book in the series. A very different take on the current vampire series craze - funny!

Outstandingly well written! Read "The Name of the Wind" first, but do read both. Wonderful story, a pleasure to read - a real gem among books. Cannot wait for his next book! Highly recommended.
