This has been one of my go-to books for issues with out of control dogs.

If you like being a Kootchie-Koo owner, then this is probably not for you. BUT if you are serious about resolving issues, then jump in and read on.

A great dog training book in the Dummies book series. Includes how to choose a dog, train it, feed it and how to teach it to walk and heel, retrive etc. There is even a section on understanding your dog's temperament, how to get through the puppy stage and how to compete with your dog. If you are getting a new dog, this is a great book.
