I like the way that you have two or three course meals that are simple to make.
You may not like all the recipes (I am not a big fan of sea food, for example), but I think they are good overall.

This book is from the series by Allan Kardec.
It explains many passages of the Gospel (not all of it) through the lenses of the Spirits.
At the end of each chapter there is a message form a Spirit about the passages from the Bible covered in the chapter.

Dr. Moody explores the possibility of the survival of consciousness after death.
Somehow, people are capable of "reuniting" with deceased loved ones in a controlled and reproducible way.
The analogy with the "mirror" narrated by Plato is a real insight.
I saw a documentary about the same analogy in the History channel.

Charles Darwin would love this book.
It takes the idea of adaptation to the modern days of genetics.
Really, really interesting.
But since I am a believer, the only thing that I did not like is that everything is explained by random mutations plus billion of years to allow for chances to work out. I'd rather believe in an intelligent principle interfering with the mutations.

Seriously!
This book has more than 1000 questions compiled into very interesting sections such as first causes, where Spirits live, morality and consequences of life after life.
They were asked by Allan Kardec to Spirits such as Benjamin Franklin, St. Augustine, Andrew J. Davis, Emmanuel Swendenborg, etc.
Very eye-opening.

Writing Your Dissertation in Fifteen Minutes a Day: A Guide to Starting, Revising, and Finishing Your Doctoral Thesis
Review Date: 12/23/2008

This book has many good sense ideas to keep you moving with your dissertation writing.
There are also many mantras to help you cope with the hard times.
I learned that writing about anything, everyday can be very helpful.
One of the best mantras that I repeated to myself during my journey was "How do you call the last PhD after graduation? - A doctor."
