Surprisingly good book.... turned me into a Space Opera fan... if you like complex, multifaceted plots then this book is for you... be sure to read Pandora's Start 1st.

I've been searching for years for a book like this.... big (galatic-scale) story, complex plot with a stage full of characters, and multiple storylines that are woven delicately together. The science fiction theme only adds to the story. This is my first Peter Hamilton novel... I'm hooked!

Interesting change of genre for AR. Took awhile to get used to, but came away with a good impression. Though he left a number of open plot lines in the book that could easily warrant a couple of more books.

Good introduction to trail running and the differences with road running. Inspired me to get out there and give trail running a try... love it!
