I read this book to my granddaughter over and over again from the time she was a year old. It has sturdy 3-dimensional ladybugs on each page, which she loved to touch. It featured different animals on each page, which helped her learn about different animals. The verses of the poem are short enough that you can finish reading them before the little one wants to turn the page. I liked it so much I got her two copies, one to keep at her house and one to keep at my house to read to her when she comes over.

Love this book for both my son and daughter. I've also given it as birthday presents. Great tactile book with nice rhyming patterns to help teach basic counting/subtraction principles.

This book is very educational and plenty of fun. The ladybugs are three dimensional, so your little one has something tactile to touch as they count. My son likes to count the ladybugs on each page, and that repletion is very good when learning how to count. Each page has a different animal to meet, with simple, short, rhyming lines accompanied by vibrant and colorful pictures.
At first I was appalled because I thought the ladybugs were being eaten or killed one at a time, but the last ladybug gets hit by a strong breeze and is brought to the rest of her ladybug and animal friends. I think it could have been worded differently.

An adorable hardback counting book with inset lady bugs. Children will love feeling the cute colored lady bugs as they learn to count from one to ten. A simple, colorful, and eye-catching book to teach a child how to count...

I like the ladybugs that stands out, but this book gives you the impression that the bugs are being eaten up. And that is not the case at all. Wish it would have been written a little differently.
