Excellent read. Some really great characters and a plot that flies forward at a rocketship pace. One of Patterson's best.

A stunningly brilliant psychopathic killer who has skillfully eluded police from London to Paris to New York. A beautiful woman journalist suddenly in grave danger. An unorthodox New York detective whose motive for stopping the killer couldn't be more personal or emotional.
Good story as usual by Patterson.
Probably one of the best, if not THE best, James Patterson books that I have read. Very intertaining.
Couldn't get into this book by Patterson. I have enjoyed all his other books, so I think it may have been the reader for me. Abridged - 4 tapes
JAMES PATTERSON AT HIS BEST AND THIS WILL KEEP YOU READING!
This is an older Patterson effort, and is quite gripping. Got a couple of weak spots, but his suspense keeps you turning pages.
A stunningly brilliant psychopathic killer who has skillfully eluded the police from London to Paris to New York. A beautiful woman journalist suddenly in grave danger. An unorthodox New York detective whose motive for stopping the killer couldn't be more personal or emotional. Fast paced and riveting!
Riveting story by James Patterson. Will keep you turning pages til the end!!
James Patterson did it again. Fantastic Thriller.
John Stefanovich, a tough New York cop, has one mission in life--to nab Alexandre St. Germain, the most treacherous and powerful member of the Midnight Club--a secret international society whose membership is limited to an elite group of ruthless crime czars, all of whom are "respectable" businessmen. Blasted by St. Germain's shotgun, Stef is left in a wheelchair, but no less determined. With the help of a beautiful journalist and a Harlem cop, Stef is determined to crack the Midnight Club And he's up against odds that are as unknown as they are deadly....
As always with Mr. Patterson, fast paced, intriquing book.
This book keeps you interested and turning pages from begining to end. All though it's one of Patterson's shorter books, you won't feel disappointed. There is nothing lackluster about this book. All the characters are written perfect, with believable back stories.
There are so many great things in this book. Everything makes sense, and the book doesn't end with any unanswered questions. The scenes in the book help you to really get a feel for the characters, good and bad. The final showdown in the elevator is absolutely amazing.

This is one of Patterson's earlier books. It is excellent.
Patterson's books are always enjoyable reading
and this one is no exception. I could not put it down.
His characters seem to come to life and you feel like your one of their sidekicks.

One of Patterson's earlier books, it is suspenseful and a great read!
James Patterson books are among my favorites. This is another great book; suspenseful as always.
I am a huge James Patterson fan and have a nice collection of his books. The Midnight Club did not disappoint once I started it like most it was hard to put down for the night. I like to start his books on the week end only so I have the time to finished them end up reading late into the night until I cannot keep my eyes open. Then I can finish it Sunday and know how it ends before another work week.
In the James Patterson style but slightly different from what I am used to reading by him. Story about the NYC Police Dept and their fight against organized crime. Love the small chapters!!! Enjoyed it but not as much as some of his other books.
John Stefanovitch is done tough New York cop. Nobody knows the underbelly of the city like he does. Stef is out to nab Alexandre St. Germain, the most treacherous and powerful member of the Midnight Club - a secret international society whose membership is limited to an elite group of ruthless crime czar, all of whom are "respectable" business. And Stef's the ideal man fo the jog - until he's leveled by a blast from St. Germain's shotgun and left for dead. Now Stef is back, wheelchair bound, yet sworn to destroy the vicious St. Germain.
Not like his Alex Cross or Women's Club books but a good read.
an older patterson book. great read
Patterson joins the elite company of Thomas Harris and John Sanford in concocting riventing and truly unique serial killers, while creating sleuths who are heroic and fascinating...
Narrated by Oscar nominee Robert Foster.

Paterson's usual cat and mouse fast paced thriller, with Alex Cross.
Good book! Wish it had been the unabridged version . . .
good read!
