Comment added 8/14/10 by DARYL D. (bookworm-51):
Loved the book Timeline but it was made into a forgettable movie

Comment added 8/13/10 by Stefan B. (stefanbourque):
Tough Guys Don't Dance is a simple example of what happens when writers overstep their bounds. The book is brilliant but Norman Mailer often involved himself in other projects that were simply beyond his scope. The one bit of success here: The casting.

Comment added 8/6/10 by Danielle W. - :
'Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH' was released as an animated film in 1982 called 'The Secret of N.I.M.H'. I loved both the book and movie growing up, but remember watching the movie over and over again. I might need to revisit it in my adulthood...

The novel, AMERICAN HERO was made into a movie called WAG THE DOG, starring Robert Deniro and Dustin Hoffman.

Comment added 8/3/10 by ANNA S. (SanJoseCa):
The movie WAG THE DOG shows how events can be staged and how the public can be mainpulated

Comment added 8/3/10 by ANNA S. (SanJoseCa):
The film WAG THE DOG is different from the novel. In novel, pres. is Buch, war is Desert Storm. In film, pres. is unnamed, war is Albania

'Dreamcatchers' by Stephen King was a good book, but I could barely make it through the movie.

Comment added 7/30/10 by ANNA S. (SanJoseCa):
