Evie Parrish is a divorced 41 year old Vegas Showgirl going through a mid-life crisis. All the good jobs are going to performers in their twenties..just like her former husband! She has a serious case of low self esteem when an unusual assignment comes her way. Evie is paid to be the wife of an older, distinguished man, on a honeymoon cruise. Evie decides to show everyone what she's made of. Except "Charles" isn't so old, and he thinks she's great. This is a light, fun story. First in series.

I was a little hesitant about reading this book simply because of the Harlequin imprint. I'm more of a chick lit girl than a romance reader. That being said, I loved this book! Evie is a little neurotic, but a lovable and capable heroine nontheless. It's definitely a departure from what can become the standard chick lit template. Must read!

Evie, a middle-aged washed up actress gets "cast" to be the wife of an older, distinguished man, on a honeymoon cruise. In reality it is a secret government mission to usurp scam artists at their own game. Her "leading man" is mysterious, sexy stud with an accent that would melt butter. This is an exciting story of woman undergoing a midlife and professional crisis and discovering who she is.
This is the first book of two about a former Vegas showgirl named Sugar DuPont (Evelyn). This was a quick, fun read for me. After reading the two books about Evie, I look forward to finding more from this author.

First book of Chameleon Chronicles trilogy. I could not stop reading this book. Great book, read it in one day then started on the second one. The writing and dialogue grabbed me from the first page. The second and third books are:
