I loved this book. Learning about people in our history like Eliza and Alexander is so interesting. This book was well written and interesting. I learned a lot.

It was neat to read how the book came about from some really old material but other than that, not so good. Just the ramblings of an old man about how he wanted his child bride to behave.

this book was enjoyed by my husband, son and myself, very suspenseful and exciting. A little scary when you start thinking about it.

Helped me better appreciate George Washington and the patriots who served with him. Very good at portraying the conditions of the encampment as well as the military and political situation.
