As always, this book by Patterson was a page-turner, but some of the plot lines seemed rather ludicrous, as if Patterson is running out of material or forcing out books faster than good ideas come to him.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed. It seems like Mr. Patterson picked a bunch of crazy things to throw together with this latest story starring the Womens' Murder Club.
Although the mystery of who killed Michael Campion was interesting, the whole Yuki/Twilly event was just plain stupid.
Overall, another quick read that will only take you a day or so, but it's not as good as the previous books in the series.

"7th Heaven" is good, quick reading. It had some flaws but overall, it was an enjoyable book, right in line with the quality you'd expect from Patterson. Add this one to your shelf!

Yay! After 2 "eh" books in the murder mystery series, this one seemed to be a little more back to what I liked about the first ones. I still wish it was more of the women doing the solving than mostly Boxer, but I'll take it. Looks like #8 comes out next year, I'm really looking forward to it!

Another good read in the Women's Murder Club. This one had three storie lines intertwined -- fire-based murders, a missing sick young man, and the court drama. Yuki, the young lawyer, shared the spot light with Lindsey for this story. And again an unexpected twist at the end. I did feel the the other characters in the 'Club' were tossed in and their events did not really fit into the overall story line -- kind of an after thought to make sure they were included and not forgotten. If you have stuck with the Club this long you will enjoy this book. I look forward to the next one too.

This is a fast read by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. It's the 7th installment in the Women's Murder Club series and features the usual characters including Lindsay Boxer, Cindy Thomas, Yuki Castellano and Claire Washburn. A high profile missing persons case and a series of deadly arson fires keep the action moving along at a high pace.

One of the best, if not the best, in the series!

This was a shorter Women's Murder Club book. I liked it, but it seems to me that James Patterson has run out of ideas. Hopefully the next installment will have something new to it. I would still recomend this book to all.

As usual James Patterson hits a home run. This, for me, is the the best of the Women's Murder Club. It was gripping from the first page.

This was a very easy read, As with all James Patterson's books it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Fires are being set to homes of the wealthy, leaving the residents dead. Detective Lindsay Boxer and her partner, Rich Conklin, are trying to find the murdering arsonists when they get a tip on another prominent case. The case involving the disappearance of Michael Campion, the son of a former governor, has been at a standstill but an anonymous tipster provides a new lead. Soon, Boxer and Conklin have a confession, but will it stand up in court? Women's Murder Club member and Assistant District Attorney, Yuki Castellano, will have the case of her life as the trial starts. Meanwhile, will Boxer and Conklin find the deadly arsonists?
The members of the Women's Murder Club are at it yet again in 7TH HEAVEN. Each book is written to stand alone although the friendship of these women has grown throughout the series. There are hints about past incidents that fans of the series will appreciate. It should be noted that newcomers to the series will miss the character development that has built slowly throughout the series, as some of the members of the Women's Murder Club only make brief appearances in 7TH HEAVEN.
Patterson and Paetro delve a bit further into Lindsay Boxer's psyche, this time examining her relationship to Joe versus her commitment to work. Yuki's insecurities are also examined as she is up against a female attorney not known for losing. Will these two members grow stronger as they face adversity?
James Patterson and Maxine Paetro deliver another fantastic thriller with 7th HEAVEN. The fast pace will have readers rapidly turning pages to see just how things will unfold. 7TH HEAVEN is yet another hit from these two talented authors and is easily recommended.

I like the Women's Murder Club stories, and this one is no exception, but I think this one was written for people with ADD. There wasn't a chapter that was more than 4 pages long, and there was plenty of empty space on pages that could have shrunk the book to about 200 pages. But beyond that, the story was a fast paced murder mystery that can be read in a few hours.

I enjoyed this book. A good one in this series. I like the short captures when reading on vacation - easy to put down and pick up when there is something else to do. Good characters and interesting throughout

Great read. I read this in 2 afternoons. It is a library book, so I'm sorry I can't help anyone who has this on their wish list. A very quick read.
I read this book in one day. There were more than one story-line, like in the last book featuring the women from the "Women's Murder Club". However, I had expected that might be the case this time, and really enjoyed the quick-read, the short chapters, and the stories. The attitude-change of expecting more than one story-line, and enjoying the book for what it was, made this very much a book worth reading. The multiple storylines had made one of the previous books feel 'jumpy' to me, with the way the stories were fit in together. Expecting that this one, too, might be more than one story certainly made for a good read, this time.

Enjoyable thriller. I have enjoyed all of the Women's Murder Club books and this one was not a disappointment.

Probably the best of the Women's Murder Club series.
James Patterson keeps on keeping on. Good job on this one also. If you follow Women's Murder Club you will enjoy this one also.
This was a great story in the series. I love the women and this book gave a little more of Lindsay personally.
James Patterson and the Women's Murder Club are a winning combination.
Like all the others in this series, it is very good, one you can't put down if you are a fan of the Women's Murder Club books.
Good job James!
Really good book. Totally unexpected ending.
James Patterson knows his suspense. Womens murder club I cannot wait to find out what comes next either in each book or what is going to happen in the next book.
Very good book! The Women's Murder Club is at it again and they're up to the task.

I totally enjoyed 7th Heaven. I'd noticed, again, that mystery wasn't the most gripping event here but it's the way that the whole story was unfolded, page by page. including how Patterson had put more depth to his characters, how they thought, felt, etc. The 2 cases here are not what you would call "unique" in a way that that you'venever seen these same plots before in TV, movies or other novels... bit the ending... the ENDING! The ending made me say "Whoa" and "Awww" ..." ...well, respectively.
The Women's Murder Club members have two horrible crimes to solve. The first involves the disappearance of the former governor's son and the second a series of arson firers each of which left people burned to death. A young prostitute confesses to being with the governor's son when he died and claims she and her boyfriend cut up the body but no trace of the body can be found. Nevertheless the girl goes on trial. As Yuki tries to conduct the trial she finds herself the target of a stalker. Meanwhile the fires and killings go on and Lindsay begins to suspect someone close to her. Another typical James Patterson story while reads quickly, is interesting and has a sudden twist at the end.
I haven't read the whole series but I found the characters awfully shallow in this as a stand alone story.
I"ve read most of this series and this is one of the best
I enjoyed this book very much but he has others I enjoyed more. I just recently started reading his books and became hooked on the very first one I read. You will enjoy it a lot.
Just waiting for #9! Loved every one.
I like how you can't guess the ending, usually I can.
Another great adventure!
I love this book and this series I am now reading the eight book and I own 9 and 10 looking forward to reading them also. Need to get 11 & 12 when I can. I would recommend this series to one and all!!
Just like all of the other Patterson books-- a page-turner that you won't put down till you finish it.
I really like this series. If you like detective stories and strong female characters, you will not be disappointed.
Fast paced book keeps you thinking to the end.
I love these characters and their Woman's Murder Club! Perhaps a bit shy with the action in this book, but still a good read!

a little bit slower than the others in the series, but still good. lindsay must stop deadly fires and find out what happened to a very famous, very sick boy. she is also faced with realizing her feelings about her partner and her boyfriend.
Typical James Patterson. He never disappoints. Excellent book.
Another decent Patterson. I was a little disturbed by the fire parts, my friends all liked it, but fires but me in stories. I think I am loosing track of who is who and may need to go back to the beginning. Seems like this one was more about one character than them working as a group.
this is a great book....anybody would love it...
I loved this book. I look forward to more like this. James patterson is just a great writer.
It was a great book for reading and in good condition. In my opinion it has a rating of 5 stars. James Patterson is a great author.

Very good book ! Quick read due to short chapters as usual with James Patterson's books - Really enjoyed it and found this one hard to put down!
Good--Patterson read..Nothing new or exciting...
This is a typical Patterson book with a surprise ending. His books are an easy read with short chapters. This one has three cases going at the same time but there's no problem following each case.
Excellent book, Surprise ending, for me anyway. Loved it.
Again...couldn't put it down. I hope this series continues.
excellent book
Loved it!
excellent series
Once again James Patterson kills it! I cant say enough good things about this book
Pretty much standard Lindsay Boxer book. I like them and they help me keep mind off of daily issues so I can get to sleep :-)
