Another great installment in this series. Same old characters. They seem like old friends. Just start reading and there they are, it is like they never left.
Lots of action, Some twists and turns. Surprise ending. Patterson doesn't close everything, and leaves something for the next time (book). A good read. Again a library book, so you either have to wait here for a copy or get lucky at your library.

A 4th Course of Chicken Soup for the Soul (Chicken Soup for the Soul)
Review Date: 5/29/2008

This book is a collection of very short stories---more like essays. Some stories are sad, some are inspiring, some are just cute. Since the chapters are quick and each chapter "stands alone" it would be perfect to take to take to any waiting room, or plane or train. If you read any other Chicken Soup books, you will like this book.

Three stars is more than generous for Patterson's latest thriller. I usually enjoy the Women's Murder Club series, but this latest installment just didn't measure up. I think that Patterson should go back to writing the books solo, and not have co-authors.

This is the first book I read by this author. It was a real page turner and was very well written by a veteran attorney. I'm looking forward to more of her books.

If you are an Elvis fan, you will enjoy this book. The story is about a man who lives in Memphis in 1977. Everyone thinks he looks like Elvis. He was born on January 8, 1935. Enough said. This book is a very quick and easy read.

The 5th installment this series was not as good as the previous four books. The author continued to misspell the word "dessert" when he wrote about what we eat after dinner. Just remember you want extra "dessert" (the extra "s") This happened at least 5 times. You would think that someone would have used spell check.
That being said, I found the plot/story line to be flat. The previous 4 books had interesting characters and the story "flowed" along.
He should stick with writing about his friends in Sarasota.

I really enjoyed this book. For the over 50 year old woman. It was like a family saga, only the instead of family it was about 5 women who lived on a cul de sac and had a love for reading. The book told of their trials and tribulations, some funny, some sad. It was about friendship and the joys and sorrows that these women shared.
