What a wonderful story! I always enjoy Julie Lessman's book, but this one absolutely shines! A Hope Undaunted is the first book in the Winds of Change series, a second series featuring the O'Conner Family. Although I highly recommend reading the Daughters of Boston before the Winds of Change series, it certainly isn't necessary and this book definitely stands on its own and can be read by itself.
