This third installment of the "Magicians of Quality" series was not nearly so enjoyable for me as the first 2. Having letters between the husbands, the wives, and about all the kids was confusing to me.

The whole letter format thing was cool in the first book, but the uniqueness of it had worn off and I found myself wanting more info than was given. Also, everything was wrapped up SO fast. 9/10th's of the way through the book everyone is stumbling around without a clue as to which way is even up and then, SHAZAAM!, everything is solved in 3 super long letters. The final letters were not letters per se either. More like an actual text in a novel :-) Felt like the authors were cramming in things to finish up.

I enjoyed this, but would hesitate to recommend buying it. The first two made very good reads and were worth buying. Not so with this.
