The second saga in the Legacies series now based in present time, continues the tale of Devlin, the ancient immortal Shadow Warrior, and Chantel, the reincarnated Mistress of the Earth stone amulet.

I would definitely read book #1 before this book. While Mrs. Leigh tries to give you all the background information, at times I was even confused and I read the first book! Some in the book are reincarnated from book #1, like Chantel, so the story ties in nicely with the first book.
