Pete rides up to the Winged T cattle ranch with one purpose: to retrieve his stolen money. A self-proclaimed drifter, he is not a man to get roped into anything. But within moments of his arrival he finds himself owner of a cattle ranch and husband to a charming woman. His new wife looks at him as if he were a cross between Paul Bunyan and Wild Bill Hickok--a lot of pressure for a confirmed wanderer.
