Well, I never.
Yes, you have, Charlotte. Twice.

Charlotte Beck is a beautiful, rich, spoiled American in the 1800s. She is also wild and impetuous. Everywhere she goes, trouble follows. Alexander Hambly is an astronomer from an honored English family who desperately needs money to stave off financial ruin. When Charlotte literally falls into his arms, the sparks fly. They are attracted to each other but cannot stand each other. Every time they meet, disaster follows. After seeing them together, Charlottes father decides that an arranged marriage between the two would be beneficial to all. Despite their protests, the deed is done and the fun begins. This book was an absolutely delightful read. A wholesome story that delivers plenty of romance and fun, I read it in a days time. This is the third book in Kathleen YBarbos Women of the West series. Although I have not read the first two books in the series, I did not find that to be a problem with understanding the story line. However, the book was so good that I will have to get the other two now just to see what Ive missed!

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for an honest review.
