Very interesting and thought provoking. The author moves through a typical grocery store and each chapter or group of chapters discusses sections of food that you find in a grocery store (produce, meat, fish, dairy, processed foods, etc) The author discusses production methods, politics, environmental issues and more related to each food group and at the end of each chapter gives her opinion on the various foods based on her nutritional knowledge. The one issue is that the latest information in this book is from 2006 so it may not all (especially as relates to laws or politics) be the most accurate/up to date.
