Post-apcolyptic YA story. Zoel is 17 when she starts "glitching". Suddenly she is able to see colors, smell smells, and feel emotions. The problem is that anomalous behaviors are to be reported immediately by whomever observes them. She has to learn to mask the fact that she isn't "linked" like everyone else all the time.

Adrien is a boy in her school. While glitching, she notices how beautiful his eyes are. She is becoming more and more afraid that she will be found out and deactivated.

She is almost caught, but Adrien takes her to the Surface to escape. Now the adventure truly begins.

I really liked Zoel and Adrien. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in this new series, Override.
