"Why Do Men Have Nipples?" doesn't always play fair. Does warm milk really help you to sleep? According to the book, there hasn't been much research done about this. Does bathing in tomato juice remove the smell of a skunk? Not necessarily; tomato juice may just smell more. This book's popularity has more to do with its bathroom jokes, advice about sex ("What is a hickey?") and attention to little-discussed bodily attributes, like ear hair. (--excerpted from "The New York Times Book Review", which loathed this book.)
