Homicide detective Charlotte Caissie will do whatever she has to to get the man who murdered her father. Jimmy Legere is a bigtime crime boss and they still can't prove anything for the crimes they know he has committed.

Max Savoie was taken in by Jimmy when he was a child. He owes everything he is to him, and that is where his loyalties lie. He's Jimmy's right hand man and he only listens to him. But Jimmy is dying, and he wants to bequeath the family business to Max, only Max really doesn't want it.

Bodies are turning up dead, but not just dead, massacred, torn asunder. Charlotte wants to find who is killing them, and she is leaning hard on Jimmy. She'll use the attraction to Max to get closer to him, maybe get him for more than the killings, but also the murder of her dad.

But Max isn't what he seems to be. He wants to love her, she wants to use him, and he'll die before he gives up anything on Jimmy. It's a love match made in hell.

Masked in Moonlight is a paranormal romantic suspense that will curl your toes. First in a new series, it sets the tone for more to come. Action-packed and bewitching, Masked by Moonlight is a wonderful story, and I look forward to the next in this tiltillating series!
