This is the third novel about Quirke, the pathologist in 1950's Dublin. This is the mystery of the disappearance of his daughter's friend. The mystery is intertwined with the personal life of Quirke, his relationship with his daughter, and his battle with alcohol. This novel grabs you from page 1 to the end. I love this series and am eagerly waiting for the next one!
