I have been reading this series completely out of order but in this series, it isn't crucial to do so. In other words, you don't feel like you have missed out on some key character or whatever if you read one later in the series then one of the first 3 or 4. In this story, Lily and Robert are substitute teaching at the local school. Plus, they rent out the 3rd floor to a mysterious group at a price they could hardly turn down. Unfortunately, the "boss" of the group is found dead in the bathroom and it seems that the only thing he meant to his team was money not fondness for him. He had one fan and he too became disenchanted when he found out that the preacher didn't walk his talk. Chief of Police Howard Walker has his work cut out for him finding the killer. There are some seemingly unconnected characters to the story but Ms. Churchill wraps it up quite nicely and I was pleased with the book. A light who-done-it that you will enjoy.
