I found Erotic Fairy Tales by Mitzi Szereto to be very disappointing. Now this may be because the first book I ever read in the genre was Enchanted by Nancy Madore, which I loved, so maybe all spicy fairy tale books are like this one.

SPOILERS

I ordered this book expecting fairy tales with more adult relationships, not disturbing ones. I found the short story "The Shoes That Were Danced To Pieces" very odd; a man who gets off by wearing women's soiled, moist underwear is disgusting. Or "The Turnip" in which a man has a gigantic turnip growing out of his penis that the king likes to ride like a horse. "Cinderella" was disturbing as well; the prince only pursued and married her in order to get her other glass slipper, so that he could have sex with both shoes, one after the other. All the while Cinderella spends her nights enjoying garden vegetables, and she wasn't eating them for lunch.

To be fair, not all of the stories were horrible, some were okay. Which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. Others may find this book enjoyable, I didn't.
