Second in the Noirot Sisters (Dressmakers) series. I quite enjoyed this book. Often humorous historicals don't work for me, but I thought this one was consistently entertaining. It's set in 1835, post Regency, pre Victorian, but could well be set anywhere from the 17th to 19th centuries, as the plotline is familiar - couple must pursue a young woman who has run away to avoid a distasteful marriage and bring her back before something bad happens to her. I did find the hero very reminiscent of Rupert Carsington (Mr. Impossible) but, as I like Rupert, this didn't bother me. Maybe not a keeper, but a fun summer read.
