Spiritual Content- Patience believes that God seemed to vanish after her father died; William's Mother had a strong Faith (he looks back on it a few times); Scriptures are quoted; Faiths grow & become stronger; A few Prayers.


Negative Content- Minor cussing including: two "Egad!"s, three bloody's, four blast's, a "what in blazes", a "where the blazes" and a "devil of a time"; William gets beat-up & pointed at with a gun in the opening chapter (barely above not-detailed & semi-detailed); William used to gamble; Mentions of drinking & those who have had too much; Guns are pointed (but none are shot).


Sexual Content- two not-detailed kisses to a forehead & a semi-detailed kiss; Noticing & Touches that cause warmth; *Big Spoiler* William is a father out of wedlock but all is said is that he was with the mother during the those months. He did not know. *End of Big Spoiler*; Love, falling in love & the emotions.

This really was such a sweet book! I only wish there was a bit more of the characters from first book in this series, "The Heiress of Winterwood". I'll be reviewing the newest book, "A Lady at Willowgrove Hall", in this series next week!
