I generally enjoy alternate history stories (favorite is Bring the Jubilee), but I was not able to get "into" this book and abandoned it about 70 pages in. Not sure what was that uninteresting, maybe I was just not in the mood for this type of story right then (but if it had been better written, then maybe I'd have kept going.)
