I absolutely loved this book! It was great reading before going to bed, a fantastic book to wind down with.
Before reading it I was under the impression it was a humor book. I didn't find it funny nor do I think it is supposed to be funny.
It is a wonderful memoir about the author falling in love with a place and finding a connection to a home, a summer home in Tuscany (she didn't have that same feeling of 'home' with her apartment in the city).
After reading the book I watched part of the movie but had to shut it off---the movie was nothing like the book with different story lines altogether and very different but not in a good way.
