I really had mixed feelings about whether or not I liked this book. There were a lot of improbable moments (plot holes galore!) and things that will make you roll your eyes, but nothing so bad as to make me quit the book altogether.
And, even though we know how this kind of story ends, I doubt the couple (if they were in the real world) would even last. There just isn't much passion between them and it felt very dry. She's also trying to constantly change the guy instead of being willing to meet him halfway. Call me a cynic, but I've seen too many relationships of people I know end, because one person keeps trying to change the other and have them give up the things they love.
One thing I did like about this book is that it has an independent female character. Sure she might go for the wrong guy in the beginning, but who hasn't?
