Heard so much about this series lately, I had to try one. It was cute, as everyone says. Was not the deepest book I've ever read, but it was entertaining enough to make me want to sneak it into work in my purse to find out what happens to the castaways (i.e. if they ever breakdown and get it on) during my lunch break.

This is actually the first one in her Nerd series, but they all have different characters, so no need to read in order. Light humerous book that keep me laughing, and enough steamy parts that hubby wanted me to "keep reading that book!"

What a fun read! I wasn't expecting this to be such a perfect airplane book; I'd expected cliches and predictability. Sure, I got some, but I also got the best darn Southern drawl/twang/dialect I think I've ever read.

Vicki Lewis Thompson is one of my favorite Harlequin writers. Her "nerd" series, NOT published through Harlequin, is a great idea. The books are different, not typical romances with everyone being beautiful and perfect. This particular book is funny and witty and the writing is sharp. It's a perfect vacation read.

I loved this book. It had everything that a nerd like me could love: geeky jokes, romance, and suspense.
