I have spent the past fifteen years collecting books on interior decorating with the hope of making my home look better. This is the ONLY book one will ever need to accomplish that task. It tells you everything interior decorators know, but dont want you to know. The rules you will learn work with any decorating syle eg traditional or contemporary. First learn the rules, and then maybe you can break them. But if you don't know the rules, how can you accomplish your goal? With this book, you can make your house look and feel like new without spending a lot of money. It gives you permission to start with what you already have. Once you do that, you can add to your pieces of furniture and art to make each room exactly the way you want it to be. Ms Ward addresses each room of the house separately. I have found gems of information for each room in this book. Once I got this first book of Ms Ward's, I just had to have another two that I have found. Dont hesitate to get this book! Don't get it for photos to copy! Get it because you can use your own furniture and belongings to create YOUR unique home. Best of all, you can do it without spending ANY money. How good is that?! I'm telling you, it doesnt get any better.
