Armed with an arsenal of book knowledge on ranching, Sonnie returned to the Rocking M Ranch determined to prove that despite her sex she could be the son her father had slways wanted. Lance Harmon had beat her to the punch, though. The orphan her father had rescued years before had grown into a handsome man, her father's right-hand man.
