Megan Barrows is a medium of sorts. She can handle objects and know what their history is as well as the feelings that come along with them. She had once been with a ghost hunting group, till things went horrible wrong, so she has given up the ghost hunting and sticks to running her antique shop.

Case Lambert, a handsome man who is into buying real estate and flipping it for a profit has just purchased a huge mansion that he wants to fix up and keep for himself and one day a wife.

Case has come into Megan's store to see if she would help him and her past colleague Eric Ramsey (whom Megan is not too happy with at the moment.) rid the mansion of some ghosts (that Case doesn't even believe in).

Megan finally agree's after some persuasion, and eventually moves into the house. She will have her hands full with not only helping some scary ghosts get out of this mansion, but with Case himself.

*This book was an intense read for me. The beginning is kinda slow, but once I got about halfway through the book, I couldn't stop reading until I was completely finished. The ghosts make is spooky and at times sent chills down my spine, and yet Case makes me all warm and fuzzy. This is a GREAT read. I would suggest it to anyone who has an interest in ghosts, or even someone who just wants a good thrilling read.*
