I thoroughly enjoyed this book - very misleading cover and title makes one expect a light, fluffy story but it is well written and pretty scary in parts. Makes me want to check out some other books by this author.

This would appear to be juat another goofy, light paranormal romance from the cover. However, I found it to be spooky and intellegent if a little short on the actual romance part.

The author does not do her books justice with the cutesy titles. One expects a MJ Davidson type book or I'm the Vampire, That's Why type book but it isn't. It is actually a pretty good paranormal suspense book. I think the publishers took the easy road trying to market it the wrong way.

Megan Barrows runs an antique shop she inherited from her mother. She has had ghost/psychic experiences since childhood. She worked for a brief time with a ghost hunting crew which led to a scary situation that caused her to leave the business.
Case Lambert, house flipper, buys an old historic mansion and finds it has other "occupants" and comes to Megan for help even though he is a sceptic.
There is attraction between them, a third party man from her past in the form of Eric (head of the paranormal investation crew) and a murder mystery from 100 years ago....and ghosts=)

No deep, dark paranormal stuff here. Fairly light reading but enjoyable. I did like this story.

I have to agree with the other reviews, it is not a cutesy MaryJanice Davidson or Sookie Stackhouse kind of read. Its more paranormal than romance and its a pretty decent read. I would have like another chapter, alittle more detail on the ghostly aspects just because I am a detail kind of girl, but overall I was happy with it. I think Cach was shortchanged with the cover and description, even the title. Its alittle misleading.

I really liked this book..I enjoy a book that has romance without it being a total sex fest and this book has a quite well developed story and I found the characters to be very real and likeable.
