I read "Watermelon" by Marian Keyes before I read this one and I have to say that I liked this one much less. Honestly, it's rare that I have to struggle so much just to get through a book. It's set in Ireland and while that's all well and good, a lot of the language is very different which makes it kind of choppy to me. I felt that it dragged a lot through the beginning/middle and there was definitely more than one time that I thought about just quitting. I thought "Watermelon" was so funny and I really didn't see much of that humor in this book. Not a fan.
