The author is a raconteur! The book is very practical and entertaining to read. I read a bit of it on the bus and will probably read more in eight weeks when I pull it from the shelf of the old soldiers' home (we have few readers). It seems like a lecture. No further readings provided, no index.
See pp. 225-227 about dealing with a hotel dispute. Your plane has landed after being delayed in a holding pattern because of thunderstorms. You arrive at 11:20 P.M. at your hotel tired out, in a damp suit, and with your shoes wet. The clerk refuses to honor your guaranteed reservation for a single because they overbooked....
