The storyline was good, but I was a bit disappointed in this one because the suspense fell flat since I knew nothing would happen to Maura Isles, one of the main characters. Putting the two principles in these extraordinary, life-threatening situations, book after book, is getting old for me.

I hope the next book features other characters in those predicaments and lets Jane and Maura get back to being medical examiner and detective.
