My kids had gotten this from the library and loved it so much they wanted their own copy. Very cute 1960s story that is still charming today.

Fascinating read that follows life in a rural Mexican village. Reads easily - I had this book for a college course but would've been happy reading it just on my own.

This book is the exact same story as the Best Nest but with flaps. I didn't know this and ended up with both and they are identical except for the flaps.

I couldn't put this book down. If you like paranormal/twilight zone type things AND chick lit, then you will love the uniqueness of this book. I loved it! If you are in the mood for a straight-out romance, then this book wouldn't be for you.

I am glad I read the other reviews after I started reading this book. The beginning is very slow and full of bizarre sentences that don't seem to mean anything. I almost quit this book but true to the other reviews, it gets pretty good after about the first 50-70 pages.

This book is hilarious. I have laughed out loud several times (which I NEVER do for books!). You can imagine this book as a movie while reading it and the situations are hysterical. A good pickmeup.
