This book gives the achievement and hisotry of the top 100 Welsh Heroes of all time from the following groups: music, history, politics, arts, movies and more. From the distant past to the present day. Leaders from the 1300's to Lawrence of Arabia, to Catherine Zeta Jones and Anthony Hopkins, 100 people you never knew were Welsh! Read about the first Welsh ruler to be called "great": Rhodri Mawr in 878 and then turn the page to learn the name of the man who evented the microphone! (No hints!) Look for Bertrand Russel and Mike Peters, singer of "The Alarm". Spands hundreds of years of Welsh History to current Heroes.

This is a "historical" fiction commenting on the life and times of a Cathar family in southern France in the 13th century. The author did a wonderful job of explaining what is known of the religious beliefs of this "heretical" sect and why they were willing to give their lives because of it.

Don't read this book if your easily traumatized over the law of "Unintended Consequences" and the negative fallout that sometimes accompanies being a "Good Samaritan".

Wow, the last battle scene left me feeling bruised and tired myself! Enjoy some First century battles between the Romans and the Britons. Gives a nice explanation as to the Roman view of duty and honor, while also siding with the Britons right to self determination. Left me not really knowing who to root for, as the author tries to bring one to the realization that nobody wins in war. Gives background on the Celtic religious view of the world and how it shaped their kingdoms and daily life. A great job of showing the uncertainties, misunderstandings and anxieties when 2 cultures collide in mistrust of one another.

I found this book highly disturbing...Although this book is written by "the dog", so to speak, it leaves unanswered too many existential questions leaving the reader to ponder whether the dog's actions made any real difference to others and more importantly, to Himself, or whether in fact He realized He had lived His entire life according to a lie.

This book is a classic example of why non-Catholics shouldn't go to other non-Catholics for information on the Vatican and Catholicism. This books contains so many easily refuted Catholic smears its laughable. I threw my copy in the trash rather than post it and have another poor soul deceived as to what Catholicism is about

This book was awful. Don't waste your credit. It has nothing to do with the dog so if you think your getting a book with the dog as a main character your not. It's just about the owners journey back to find the dog, and the whole experience is SO VULGAR I didn't even bother finishing it.
