Absolutely engrossing memoir from one of the finest musicians of the 20th century.

I loved this book! It's an absorbing and quite likely historical fiction. It has lots of political intrigue and a healthy dose of smoldering sexuality. Total escapist fun. Great beach or rainy day read.

Not as good as the Outlander books but still a fun read.

I picked this book up in a train station in Germany in 2004, and gave it away to a backpacker I me in Berlin when I was done reading it. I truly regret doing that. This book has stayed with me in ways I hardly expected it to. It's beautiful, tragic, and lovely. It still manages to move me, three years after I last saw it. Everyone should read this book.

Hilarious! I was giggling the whole way through. Hiaasen at his best.

A great continuation of a wonderful series. If you liked the first four Pink Carnation books, you'll like this one.

Engrossing historical fiction with lots of great detail about depression-era circumstances. Loved the ending.

I've tried to read this book several times now, but I just cannot get past the second chapter. I find Dave Eggers's writing style maddening.
