I enjoyed it and I felt that Mr Dahmer really did take on a lot of the blame for his son's crimes. An excellent look into the back story of Jeff Dahmer.

Great but very disturbing book. The ending, while true, is just so unsatisfactory from a story perspective. Sad all the way around. Very interesting and upsetting tale.

If I Am Missing or Dead: A Sister's Story of Love, Murder, and Liberation

While I did enjoy the book, I was expecting a lot more about the actual crime against her sister. This was more a book about the author's abusive relationships than anything else. FOr that reason it was a bot of a disappointment.

This book is badly written and wholly unbelievable. I read it after watching the movie by the same name, as you usually find that the book is better than the movie, but not in this case. There was irrelevant chatter throughout, it droned on and on in other places and the descriptive passages were utterly boring. I was really disappointed and after the first couple of chapters, I skimmed the rest. The movie people took enough of the premise of the book (which admittedly was a charming idea) to make it watchable. Don't bother with this one. It was a drag.

Everyone should read this. I loved it and couldn't put it down. The author creates such a clear picture of the life this girl lived before and after leaving her abusive father, and the civil rights movement that it makes for really compelling reading. Can't wait to see the movie now...

Skinny Bitch in the Kitch: Kick-ass Solutions for Hungry Girls Who Want to Stop Eating Crap (And Start Looking Hot!)

I HATED this book. It's for the "mean girl" crowd. It didn't speak to me at all, and I couldn't get through it. I swapped it about 3 days after I bought it brand new. I found the tone extremely sarcastic and patronizing, and not at all funny, which I expect was the authors' intention. "Secrets of a Former Fat Girl" was much better. Get that instead :)
