The patterns in this book are beautifully done. It's easy to modify them and adapt them to the sweater and sweater size of your choice. I especially like the rabbit which is illustrated on the cover, the diagonal line designs shown in several sizes and colors, and the flamigo.
This was a superb historic novel. The characters were well developed and I quickly empathized with them. The story was told from a Japanese perspective by an author who spent the early part of her life experiencing many of the scenarios she describes. Not only does the reader become to understand Japanese culture, but also Japan's attempts at becoming the leading Asian power in the world.
This is a book for avid knitters who love color and artistic designs. The numerous patterns in the book include directions for making sweaters and vests for men, women, and sophisticated sweaters for children. The book is beautifully illustrated.
This is a perfect book, 46 pages, of vivid color photography, for crafters, writers, artists, and workshop presenters who will want to teach the art of writing Haiku poetry as well as the process of paper-bead-making; a great way to "upcycle" for the environmental enthusiast.
