Great book. He names a lot of people who have each done something to erode away at our culture, society, etc. Very funny and a great read!!! I just love this guy. He tells the truth and doesn't hide behind all that phony political correctness.

This book was in response to Bernard Goldberg's book 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America (and Al Franken is #37). It was, however, a very pathetic response. Not nearly as interesting or entertaining as Mr. Goldberg's book. I had to really push myself to finish it, especially since a lot of what this man wrote about conservatives was factually inacurate. What a waste of time...

Crazies to the Left of Me, Wimps to the Right: Why I've Had It with Both Sides -- But for Very Different Reasons
Review Date: 6/9/2007
Helpful Score: 3

Another brilliant book by Bernie Goldberg. For the many who find politics extremely boring, Goldberg writes with a wonderful comedic style to illustrate the crazy ways of the American Left. This book will have you laughing out loud and before you know it, you will have read the whole book. I couldn't put it down. Whether you side with the crazies or the wimps, this book makes you laugh, then think, then shudder! Bravo Bernie!

Wonderful book that illustrates this woman's life growing up a Muslim Somalian. Parts of this book will make you want to weep. It's Very interesting to see how other cultures treat women.

Another writer tries desperately to convince us there is no God. I guess if you are not a believer you'll like it, but it only strenghtened my own faith. Like all other athiests he cannot prove God doesn't exist, and, until he can, I'm on God's side!!!

Misstating the State of the Union: Right-Wing Media Distortions About the Clinton and Bush Presidencies
Review Date: 10/21/2007

Personally, I wouldn't have much faith in anything that Media Matters puts out. They constantly distort the truth in order to advance their agendas. Don't waste your time on this book. It just isn't credible.

Positively American: Winning Back the Middle-Class Majority One Family at a Time
Review Date: 5/23/2007
Helpful Score: 1

A good read for a first book. The Senator describes the typical American family, who he names the Baileys, and goes on to describe how they feel about cerain issues our country faces and how to deal with them. He has some really good ideas, and some not-so-good ideas, depending on your political affiliations. I recommend this book, and after this one read Winning the Future by Newt Gingrich. Both books cover similar issues and they both offer good ways to deal with those issues.

Wonderful book, very easy read (read it in about 5 hours because I couldn't put it down). Glenn is such a real person, so genuine. Book talks about being neighborly, honest, just being a good person. If you are like me and wish our country would just revert back to good old common sense, you'll really enjoy this book.

This is the first I've read of Marian Keyes and I cannot wait to read another!!!! I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes, her inner dialouge was a little annoying but none the less I thought the book was great.
