My son loves this board book! Each page has fruit/veggies carved to look like dogs participating in various phrases. One, for example, is "Dog Bowl"--it's a dog bowling (with a ball and pins). It's a cute book and very simple to read. Good choice for children who love dogs!

The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club: True Tales from a Magnificent and Clumsy Life

I just could not get into this book. I bought it knowing that it (and the author) was really popular, and had a WL. So, I wanted to see for myself what the hype was. I couldn't get past the first 30 or so pages. Just not my kind of book, I suppose!

This book started slow, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It really picked up and got interesting! I can't wait to see what happens next with Kitty!

I didn't really like this book. The writing style was a bit slow for me, from all I'd heard of Koontz, I expected more action, more suspense, more something. All I got was more desire for the darn book to END. Then, when it did, I wanted to throw it across the room (unfortunately I was at work--in a school, and couldn't). It was frustrating, sad, and not worth my time.

Another book I could not get into. I wanted to know what happened, so about 2/3 of the way through or so I just skipped to the end and skimmed it. There were parts in this book that just killed me to read, which is why, in the end, I stopped. I wanted to cry. It's very moving, but it was breaking my heart. I don't want to give it away, so that's all I'll say.
