One of my favorite from the Samaria series, "Angel-Seeker" satisfies reader's duo-curiosities about what type of person becomes an angle seeker (women and men who bed angels in an attempt to produce angelic children and gain in social status) and how one of the planet's more conservative ethnic groups operates behind it's tightly closed social doors. Obediah, charismatic, gentle and somewhat shiftless, learns how to love and Rebekah, a rebellious but essentially good-hearted young woman, discovers she has what it takes to fight for what one most desires. "Angel-Seeker" is a well-written tale that gets into the heads and hearts of the characters with a hearty does of good-humor and suspense.

Cute and clever, though perhaps not a definitive step-by-step guide to being "bad."

A sweet, quick read about a woman's experience knitting while caring for her dying mother. I didn't find the haiku very strong, but I enjoyed the read overall. A nice gift book.

A play on words tells the story of one of my all-time-favorite books featuring a blended family.
