Based on a true murder case, Sparks has spun a tale involving an Earl on the run, his doppelganger, and a fraudulent stigmatic turned psychiatrist. Entertaining and humorous in spite of the subject matter.

Definitely difficult to put down. McGrath spins a tale where all of the characters including the narrator left this reader wondering who was telling the truth and who belonged in the asylum.

this addition to the Dalgliesh series does not disappoint. P.D. James always develops her characters - never a formula mystery.

What the Lotus Said: A Journey to Tibet and Back

Swanson's account of his journey to Tibet, accompanying his lama on an aid mission,
was more about his physical discomfort than a spiritual journey. He does portray
Tibet well as an impoverished country dominated by China. His litany of complaints became tiring.
