I THOUGHT IT WAS WELL WRITTEN,AND IT PROVIDED AN INTERESTING INSIGHT TO THE AIR WAR IN WWI.IF ONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO "BE THERE" AND WHAT THESE PILOTS WERE REALLY LIKE PERSONALLY THIS BOOK DOES A GOOD JOB.

VERY WELL WRITTEN, A GREAT WAR STORY. VERY REALISTIC, HEATH ALLOWS YOU TO MEET AND KNOW HIS CHARACTERS. THE END IS REALLY A SURPRISE.A REAL CLASSIC!I LIKED IT SO GOOD I READ IT TWICE.
