Angie has two possibilities. First there is William who always talks about their future life together but whom she doesn't know much about. Suddenly he's gone for a year. Then there is David. He wants to date and marry her. Why not date him?

Can be helpful for someone who isn't familiar with Miquon and cuisenaire rods and how to use the books and materials in a hands on learning way. Interesting reading.

Lots of recipes at the back are the thing that excite me most. Interesting research and claims about what humans are meant to eat based on studying chimpanzees. Makes a strong case for drinking green smoothies.

Overwhelming sometimes, but extremely useful. This book contains a basic list to help parents with what is generally taught when in schooling. It's usefulness is in these lists and also in the amount of resources suggested for each topic. If you are designing your own homeschooling program, it will be super helpful. N.B. Some of the free links are no longer working.

Though aimed more at classroom teachers, there are some useful things in here. Hands on material suggestions, FAQ about different parts of using Miquon.

This is a lovely story. It takes place shortly after WWII has ended in England. The characters are interesting and real. The idea of a place and nature being refuges or places of healing is wonderful. This is one of my favorite books.
