This Bible is fantastic! It has been hard to find a Bible that is easy to read and devoid of bad attitudes in the artwork and teaching material. Most children's Bibles feature pictures which teach your children how to do things you don't want them to do or the devotions teach them about things they think all girls or boys struggle with (which they don't). This Bible was a pleasant surprise. Karyn just put the Bible in easy to read chronological order and lets the text speak for its self. She has excluded things like the chronologies of long names and other things which elementary readers will not understand at their young age (like sexual things.) My daughter is very excited to read her Bible daily! It is also a wonderful resource for home schooling since it puts the Bible in chronological order and has excellent time lines.

This book is excellent! Robin is very detailed in explaining all the holidays that are sanctioned to be celebrated in the Bible. She brings to light how God has always pointed to a Messiah throughout time and the feasts were meant to point to Him. She offers ways to celebrate the feasts and point our children to the awesome things God has done for His people. She also includes wonderful unit studies for home schooling families. Every home library should have a copy of this!

(From the 1998 version back)
There are "forgotten factors" in all sexual sins, no matter which are often overlooked when people try to "get their lives together." These include the wrong done to another, multiplied duplicities, the wrong done to one's own body, and the offense to God.

By exploring these matters the author seeks to lead the reader to a deeper repentance.

Only then can one fully experience the abundant grace of God- grace that not only forgives each sin but makes over anew the situations of confusion and misery caused by these sins. Never was this message more timely.
