Very warped and unsubstantiated look at this president's time in the white house. Very sad to see this in print; needs to be in gossip magazine.
Obviously, Trump loved it and gave it a good review...what does that tell you??

Good writing, with impressive vocaulary; though the plot is almost predictable, the wonderful info on plants, landscaping and running a small home-based business makes it a super read!

The writing is good, with lots of descriptives. While I was impressed with the plot, and how it unravels (catching the reader off guard) I found the heroine's consistent line of "I just can't get over this" wore me out by the end of the book.

Creative Careers: Paths for Aspiring Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians, and Writers
Review Date: 9/22/2009

While this is a very professionally researched and written book, it is best read by the people who are younger, college educated or those who (possibly later in life) willing to begin college.

I had thought this would include the whole spectrum of creative careers, including those that do not include years of college and the resulting degree. It does not.

This is one of the best I've read; it is a great story line yet personal and meaningful. Deep insight by the author allows each reader to pull from it their own insights. Most of all, it keeps moving just fast enough that you don't want to put it down yet never makes you feel as though you are being rushed.

I recommend that everyone read it, if only to see how one person with courage and confidence chooses to face their life.

As usual, Ms. Brown's writing is great and keeps you hooked until the end. This story shows a lot more of the dark side of people than I've encountered in other stories.

Absolutely incredible story! I wasn't expecting such a powerful and insightful story, and certainly didn't expect to find myself setting the book aside to see how a specific character's lesson in life affected my way of thinking!

It a book that everyone should read; if nothing else, it will introduce you to a truly great author. But I suspect it will stay with you, and actually influence the way you look at life, death, friends, marriage and family forever.

Good book and well-thought out story line. The author weaves his tale around the eternal question of what really happens when a person is in a coma, and subject to death by disconnection of life support.

It is not a humorous story but the characters are great with one-liners and keep a very serious subject lighthearted. Also the descriptions of scenery where they are is incredible and made this reader feel as though I had been on a vacation!

This book is for those needing an escape, those who want a little romance and especially those who want an answer to that eternal question. It sure convinced me.

An Irish Country Doctor (aka The Apprenticeship of Doctor Laverty) (Irish Country, Bk 1)
Review Date: 5/2/2014
Helpful Score: 1

This is a very good book, written with skill, insight and a wonderful vocabulary. The story and characters exude a strong feel of compassion and sense of purpose that seems to have been lost in the world today. I hope this series inspires people around the world to bring it back into our communities and our lives.

This is a good book with lots of amazing insights and the magnetic personality and presentation skills of Dr. Dyer.

My only complaint is that each CD or chapter jumps to a different subject, not maintaining a smooth flow like his books usually do.

Still, it is worth listening.

Definitely an important book for those seriously seeking to live "in spirit". With his unique take on life, Mr. Dyer lays out all the necessary steps and attitudes that we must embrace to know how truly amazing life can be.

Don't miss out on this - it is so easy to listen to, and (like an old friend) you will want to hear it again and again.

Talking to Alzheimer's: Simple Ways to Connect When You Visit with a Family Member or Friend
Review Date: 9/12/2006

Everyone should read this! With so many people being diagnosed everyday, this is a handbook that you'll use for those you know have Alzheimer's, and it will assist you in determining if others you know have it (at least I found it helped me do that).

This book is very good. The writing is top notch and keeps you moving through the story effortlessly; more than that, it really hits home for many of us with the restoration of a historic house that has been neglected. Ms. Roberts really did her research on re-habbing!!

The main characters are very believable and definitely people you would like to know.

A very interesting story and, though I read it more for fun and romance/escape, I did learn a lot from all the things going on in the story. I loved the description of places, people and history of both. I will definitely be reading Book 2 as soon as I can get it.
