There are parts of this book that made me laugh out loud. If coarse language really bothers you, this book might not be for you. There is a little bit in their. I thought she was very funny in telling her life story.

Toward the end I could not put this book down. It wasn't suspenseful in a "mystery" way. It was just watching the people in this family grow and change. I wanted to know what would happen next. I really enjoyed this book.
